I’ve been involved in softball for 5 years until now. I am
alright, not too good or too bad for a softball player. I am the okay one. But,
my passion for softball isn’t just ‘okay’, it is crazily head over heels kind
of passion, as a matter of fact. I started play this game since i was 14 years
old, experienced many kinds of injuries, bruises, bleeding, these are so normal
in softball. These will happen to you only if you’re not being aware of the
hard green ball, or your friend accidentally throws it at you without your notice,
or your reflex muscle is just ‘slow’(you just can’t avoid the fast ball even though
you see it coming). Instead of these high risk injuries, i freaking want to
play. Once you are a sofballer, forever you will be. Well, that is my case. I don’t
know about others.
OKAY, for those who doesn’t know what softball is, let me
tell you a little bit about it. It is kind of similar to baseball, what
differentiates these both are the size of the ball (and colour too), and the
way the pitcher pitch the ball to the batter. In case you want to know more,
just google them. In Malaysia, both male and female involve in this game, but
for other countries, it is only for girls because the boys play baseball.
Softball makes me happy. The friendship built from this is
so priceless. What most important is, we always support each other, we won’t
let them fall alone. We’ll rise together as a team. Currently, i am a member of Sultan Idris Education University Softball Teachers’ Club (why teachers? Because we are future educator). I'll write more about my softball activities. See ya on my next post.=)
